She is the founder of Mind, Body, and Soul Psychiatry, PLLC, where she provides compassionate and comprehensive mental health and substance abuse care in a private practice setting. In addition, she serves as a Behavioral Health Medical Provider at CODAC Behavioral Health & Wellness, specializing in opioid dependence treatment and psychiatric services.
A United States Army Reserves Nurse Corps veteran, Dr. Leverette served for over 20 years, including a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq, where she was the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Detainee Medical Clinic and a Behavioral Health Advocate supporting the mental well-being of deployed soldiers.
Her clinical and academic background includes leadership in complex care management, nursing education, and dialysis care, having mentored veteran nursing students and taught psychiatric mental health nursing. She is also a Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society inductee and an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners (MICNP).
